Macedon-Palmyra-Walworth Chambers of Commerce (MPWCC) announce the winner of their Home Standby Generator raffle 2009...
Congratulations to Mike Murphy of Murphy Funeral Services. Mike was drawn as the winner at the October 20th Chamber of Commerce general meeting. The raffle was a collaboration of fundraising ideas for the MPWCC who looks forward to continuing support of local businesses.
From Mike Murphy: “I cannot express how surprised I am to have won the stand by generator that the Macedon Palmyra Walworth Chambers of commerce (MPWCC) has raffled. I am very grateful and want to thank everyone who has participated in the raffle. All who have purchased tickets, Dan Hall and Kelli Craig at New York State SitePower Corp in Walworth for their donation of the generator installation and their time and effort in the entire event, all of the MPWCC members who have made the fundraiser a success, I thank you all. We plan to install the generator at Payne & Murphy Funeral Home in Macedon and look forward to having the peace of mind that during a power outage we will be able to continue to serve our families”.
The MPWCC wishes to extend a special thank you to the businesses and individuals who sold & purchased tickets for the raffle. Also, a special thanks to our event host, Long Acre Farms. Please support our sponsors!
